About the Filipino Tour Guide

The Filipino Tour Guide is a blog that I  maintain to describe daily life in my country and to answer basic questions that a possible visitor might ask. Think of it as a virtual tour with me as your tourist guide.

I’m a marketing management graduate from one of Manila’s universities. After years in sales promotions, public relations, and advertising, I've chosen to pursue tour guiding as a profession. Currently, I’m working with the Philippines’ Department of Tourism as a Mabuhay Guide.

On my spare time, I read and surf the internet. I take special interest in Philippine history, lad’s magazines, the music of the Beatles, graphic novels, geeky stuff, and corny jokes. I also dabble with writing and videoke too.

I live with my wife of three years who has taught me to love coffee, Bob Marley and now, dogs.
